Matthew Ramirez is a lawyer with the firm, where he assists the firm’s clients with partition actions, real estate matters, and civil litigation.
Matt graduated with a Juris Doctor from the University of California, Irvine School of Law, where he received a Distinguished Decade Scholarship. He also spent a year of that time as a visiting law student attending UCLA Law. While at UCLA Law, Matt was the Managing Editor of the Journal of Environmental Law and Policy.
Before joining the firm, Matt engaged in public interest legal work with the Environmental Protection Information Center (EPIC), Environmental Defense Center (EDC), and other nonprofits. He has previously interned for California federal and state representatives. Prior to law school, Matt obtained his bachelor’s degree from Princeton University.
Matt was born and raised in Southern California and has visited all corners of this wonderful state, from the Redwoods to Joshua Tree. In his free time, he enjoys lifting weights, video and tabletop games, creative projects, reading fiction, and spending time with family and friends. He has intermediate fluency in Spanish.
