Claire Brett
ParalegalClaire studied law at the University of Johannesburg, and then practiced general law for several years after being admitted as an attorney to the High Court of South Africa. Claire used this time to hone her skills in various types of law, while becoming well versed in client relations and all the administrative aspects of dealing with a busy law office.
She was lucky enough to work as an assistant at the Soweto campus's Law Clinic which gave her invaluable insight to the plight of the less fortunate, and a passion for providing legal assistance to those in need. She then volunteered at ProBono.org, helping the less fortunate at the Johannesburg inner city family law help desk.
Claire has a passion for nature, counting herself as fortunate that she was able to grow up being exposed to many beautiful South African National Parks. She enjoys walks in nature and is a keen gardener.
