Karla Alvarez
ParalegalKarla is a paralegal with the Underwood Law Firm, P.C. Previously, she became a lawyer after studying at Pontifical Bolivarian University in Colombia, where she demonstrated a passion for academic excellence and service.
During her studies, she became certified as a conciliator, holding conciliation hearings to assist clients in resolving disputes. Karla also worked ad honorem at the university’s legal clinic, providing legal advice and assistance to underprivileged individuals in public, civil, family, labor, commercial, and criminal law areas.
Her dedication to research led her to work as a research assistant, where she authored a comprehensive article titled Manual for the Route of Attention to Victims of Computer Crimes Associated to Artificial Intelligence. Additionally, Karla was a monitor for her law program, providing academic reinforcement in challenging subjects, organizing class materials, and supporting students in their educational projects and research.
Beyond her professional and academic endeavors, Karla is an avid reader with a personal library that reflects her love for knowledge. She is also a native Spanish speaker.
