Senior Attorney
Helene J. Farber has been a practicing California attorney for over 20 years. Her range of experience includes everything from criminal defense to real estate, business, employment and landlord tenant law.
She earned her undergraduate degree from U.C.L.A and her law degree from U.C. Berkeley. While attending law school, she wrote an original research paper, which was accepted for publication in the California Criminal Law Review.
In 2012 Ms. Farber was the mitigation attorney in a capital murder case. While mitigation was successful, Ms. Farber decided she preferred civil litigation.
Prior to joining the Underwood Law Firm as a supervising attorney, Ms. Farber was counsel at a nation-wide law firm where she handled matters as diverse as bankruptcy and employment law.
Outside of practicing the law, Ms. Farber enjoys time with her husband, watching obscure movies, and debating legal and political issues. She is an enthusiastic swing dancer. Presently she is working on a second novel.
Ms. Farber understands the client’s stress during litigation and counters that with a commitment to excellence, a breadth of experience, and keeping the client informed and their concerns and goals foremost in her mind.
