COO, Administrator
Serena Rico is the firm’s COO and Administrator. She brings more than 20 years of experience in law firms and business management.
In her role, Serena works with the firm’s founder to ensure the seamless operation of the firm’s business areas. Her responsibilities include managing all locations, employees, and all business management functions, including financial management, budgeting, employee engagement, and process improvement initiatives.
Serena graduated with a BA from the University of Bristol, England, before moving to California in 1994. Her well-traveled background and exposure to diverse cultures have enriched her worldview and enabled her to connect with clients from all walks of life.
When she's not orchestrating the firm's smooth functioning, Serena's athletic spirit leads her to participate in numerous endurance events. Her passion for trail running in state parks throughout the country has seen her clock 80-100 miles per month on scenic trails.
